중도중복장애 학생의 의료적 지원에 대한 관리자, 특수교사, 의료진 및 보호자의 인식 분석

Analysis of the Perceptions of Administrators, Special Education Teachers, Medical Staff and Guardians on Medical Support for Students with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구는 중도중복장애 학생의 의료적 지원에 대한 관리자, 특수교사, 의료진 및 보호자의 인식을 분석하여 향후 학교 내 의료적 지원에 대한 방향성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 중도중복장애 학생에게 의료적 지원을 제공하고 있는 관리자 3명, 특수교사 9명, 의료진 4명, 보호자 3명, 총 19명을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 텍스트 마이닝 분석과 지속적 비교 분석을 함께 실시하였다. 연구결과: 특별건강관리가 필요한 중도중복장애 학생의 의료적 지원을 위하여 각 학교 내 간호사와 같은 전문 의료 인력이 학교 내에 배치되는 것에 대해 모든 연구 참여자가 매우 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 전문 의료인력 배치가 양적·질적으로 확대되기를 기대하였다. 중도중복장애 학생의 의료적 지원이 체계화되기 위해서 교육부와 시도교육청의 적극적인 역할, 간호사 수급문제해결, 응급상황에 적절한 대처 매뉴얼, 법령계정과 지역사회협력을 통한 의료기관과의 협력 체제를 구축의 필요성이 요구되었다. 결론: 향후 학교 내 중도중복장애 학생의 의료적 지원에 대한 지속가능한 구체적인 지원방안과 법적으로 명문화의 필요성에 대하여 논하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of medical support in schools in the future by analyzing the perceptions of administrators, special education teachers, medical staff, and guardians about medical support for students with severe and multiple disabilities(SMD). Method: A focus group interview was conducted with 3 principals, 9 special education teachers, 4 medical staff members(i.e., doctor, nurse), and 3 guardians who provide medical support for students with SMD. Text-mining analysis and constant comparative analysis were conducted for the analysis. Results: All participants positively perceived the placement of school nurses for students with SMD who need special health care. In order to systematize medical support for students with SMD, active roles of the Ministry of Education, balancing nurse supply and demand, developing an appropriate emergency situation manual, and building a cooperative system with medical institutions in a local community are required. Conclusion: A sustainable concrete in-school medical support plan for students with SMD and the need for legal stipulation were discussed.
