인산화한 들깨 줄기를 이용한 Pb(II) 흡착효율 향상

Enhancement of Pb(II) adsorption using phosphoric acid-activated perilla stalk

The purpose of this study was to analyze the efficiency with which phosphorylated perilla stalk (PPS) remove cationic Pb(II) ions from an aqueous solution. The pHpzc of the perilla stalk (PS) was 7.36, but it was lowered to 3.53 in the PPS, confirming that an acidic functional group was attached to the surface of the PPS. According to FT-IR analysis, phosphorylation of the PS added a P=O group, P-O-C (aromatic) bond, P=OOH, and P-O-P to the surface of the adsorbent, and the peaks of the carboxyl groups and OH-group were high and broad. Also, the specific surface area, mesopore range, and ion exchange capacity were significantly increased by phosphorylation. An adsorbent of lignocellulose-based adsorbent that is abundant and easy to purchase anywhere, such as PS is a promising adsorbent that can efficiently adsorb Pb(II) in aqueous solution. PPS was very effective in adsorbing Pb(II) in aqueous solution, which has great significance in terms of recycling resources and adsorbing heavy metals using waste materials.
