제1장 도산 안창호의 정치활동의 전개와 그 정치사상적 함의

DoSan Ahn Chang-Ho's Political Activity and Meaning of Political Thought

도산 안창호에 대한 선행연구는 자료의 한계에도 불구하고 다양하게 지속적으로 연구되어 온 이유는 도산 안창호 사상이 우리민족에게 미친 영향력이 크기 때문이다. 그러나 도산 안창호 연구의 대부분이 교육사상에 편중되어 있다는 것은 도산에 대한 편향된 인식을 할 수 있는 오류를 범할 수 있다는 점에서 간과해서는 안될 것으로 보인다. 따라서 도산 안창호에 대한 교육사상이외의 부분에 대한 연구를 통하여 도산에 대한 진면목을 재조명하여야 할 것으로 보인다. 본 논문에서는 먼저;연구결과에 대한 비판을 최소화하기 위해 논문의 범위와 한계를 설정하고;다음으로 도산 안창호의 정치활동을 구국활동의 범주속에서 시계열의 방법으로 피력하고자 한다. 다음으로 이러한 정치활동의 행태를 바탕으로 그의 행적이 정치사상적으로 어떠한 함의를 가지고 있는가에 대한 긍정적인 측면과 부정적인 측면을 같이 분석하고;마지막으로 이러한 도산 안창호의 정치사상적 함의에 대한 평가와 시사점을 서술하고자 한다.

We have incessantly studied DoSan Ahn Chang-ho’s thought in spite of limited access to materials of DoSan because his thought has exerted a tremendous influence on us. It, however, is concerned that the research on DoSan has exclusively focused on education and that biased scholarly interest may cause academic inaccuracies about DoSan’s thought. Therefore, taking a look at various kinds of fields including education, we seek to know all things what DoSan tells us about. This article first attempts to address the scope and limitation of the research in oder to minimize criticism about its result. Then using time-series methods, I search his political activities in terms of saving the country and furthermore examine what his political activities mean his political thought. The last, I discuss the implication of DoSan’s political thought and how we go on to further study about his political philosophy.
