실과 수업에서 문제 해결 능력 신장을 위한 프로젝트 기반 학습 모형 구안

Development of Project-based Learning Model for Promoting the Problem Solving Ability on Practical Arts Subject Instruction

이 연구는 실과 수업에서 문제 해결 능력 신장을 위한 프로젝트 기반 학습 모형을 구안하기 위한 것으로서, 실과 수업에서의 문제 해결 능력과 과정, 프로젝트 기반 학습과의 관계, 프로젝트 기반 학습의 교육적 가치 및 모형 등을 고찰하고, 실과 수업에서 적용할 수 있는 프로젝트 기반 학습의 진행 과정을 비교·분석하여 실과 수업에서 문제 해결 능력 신장을 위한 프로젝트 기반 학습 모형을 구안하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 문헌, 연구 자료 및 보고서 등을 수집·분석하는 문헌 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 구안된 프로젝트 기반 학습 모형은 준비, 계획, 실행, 평가 등의 4단계로 구성하였으며, 단계별로 세부 과정은 프로젝트 기반 학습 과정에서 학생들의 문제 해결 능력이 신장될 수 있도록 체계적인 문제 해결 과정을 각 단계에 반영하였다. 그리고 각 단계가 유기적으로 상호 연계 또는 피드백 될 수 있도록 하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 구안된 프로젝트 기반 학습 모형은 실과 수업에서 프로젝트 기반 학습에 적합한 교육내용에 실질적으로 적용하여 초등학교 학생들의 문제 해결 능력을 신장하고 실과 수업을 발전적으로 개선할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 실과교육 내용 및 수업 운영 방법에 따라 유연성 있게 변형할 수 있으므로 수업 과정에서 다양한 활동 방법과 교수·학습 자료들이 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The study was for developing the model of project-based learning for promoting the problem solving ability on practical arts subject instruction through the review of literature. For this problem solving ability and project-based learning were considered and the processes of project-based learning were analysed. The developed model composed of 4 levels such as preparation, planning, execution, evaluation and each level divided into the 15 detailed processes of the project-based learning process. Also it was to ensure that each process was to be linked organically and adjusted feedback, and elementary school students’ problem solving abilities are formed through the process of project-based learning were to be improved through the concrete problem solving process This model will be used in the promotion of elementary school students’ problem solving abilities, the improvement of practical arts subject instruction substantially, and the utilization of various activity methods and teaching-learning materials in instruction procedure.
