In this study, working conditions of the agricultural workers are investigated and the factors affecting the satisfaction level with the working conditions are analyzed. The analysis on the factors affecting the satisfaction level with the working conditions of the entire economy is also conducted and the results are used as an comparable indicator. For analysis, Korean Working Conditions Survey data and an ordered probit model are used. Based on the findings of the analysis, the factors constituting the working conditions in the agricultural sector are classified by type, and priorities requiring urgent improvement are presented. Among the working conditions in the agricultural sector, it was found that the factors that lowered the satisfaction of the workers while being poor compared to other industries were exposure to high temperatures, handling of heavy objects, working in a sitting position, and insufficient provision of health and safety related information.
