The physical environment that a person encounters in his or her daily life means more than that, and the public design that plans and implements it is used as a national strategy and means of implementation to promote public happiness to realize public value. Positive psychology is the study of conditions and processes in which people, groups and institutions thrive and function optimally. As such, positive psychology studies the positive attributes of mental health and well-being in human life, from individuals to social units. In this work, we utilize the PERMA model of positive psychology as a plan for promoting public design. It presents public design that expands positive emotions to five major goals for promoting public design, public design that allows people to experience immersion, public design that connects relationships, public design that provides meaning, and public design that seeks achievement. Specific execution plans for each orientation point also appear to be applicable and constructable by leveraging the detailed elements of the PERMA model.
