Test-wiseness 전략이 평가도구 유형에 따른 초등학생의 과학과 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

Effect of Test-wiseness Strategies on Elementary School Students' Science Academic Achievement by Test instrument Type

목적 이 연구는 초등학생들의 Test-wiseness(TW) 전략이 평가도구 유형에 따른 과학과 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 경상남도 소재 초등학생 94명을 대상으로 TW level test, 서답형과 선택형으로 구분된 과학과 학업성취도 평가를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 그 관련성과 통계적 의미를 일원배치 분산분석과 사후검정을 통해 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 초등학생들은 TW_After, TW_Before, TW_While 영역 순으로 TW 전략을 사용하고 있었다. 둘째, 초등학생들의 TW 전략 수준과 서답형 평가도구의 학업성취도 수준과의 관계에서 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 발견되었다. 셋째, 과학과 학업성취도 수준이 높은 초등학생들이 다른 수준의 학생들보다 TW 전략을 보다 적극적으로 시험치기에 적용하고 있었다. 결론 초등학생들의 TW 전략은 과학과 성취수준과 서답형 학업성취도에 의미 있는 영향을 주는 요인으로서 향후 과학 교육 평가 연구 분야에서 TW 전략에 대한 요인을 고려할 필요성이 있다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of test-wiseness (TW) strategy on elementary school students' science academic achievement according to the type of test instrument. Methods In this study, the data were collected by conducting the TW level test, science academic achievement test divided into supply type and selection type for 94 elementary school students in Gyeongsangnam-do, and their relevance and statistical significance were analyzed through one-way ANOVA and post-test. Results First, elementary school students were using the TW strategy in the order of TW_After, TW_Before, and TW_While. Second, a statistically significant correlation was found in the relationship between the TW strategy level of elementary school students and the academic achievement level of the supply type test. Third, elementary school students with high science academic achievement levels were more actively applying the TW strategy to the test than students of other levels. Conclusions The TW strategy of elementary school students is a factor that has a significant effect on the science achievement level and the results of the supply type academic achievement, so it is necessary to consider the factors for the TW strategy in the field of science education test in the future.
