『漢方醫藥界』 제2호 ‘寫眞揷入’에 소개된 한의사들 연구

A Study on the Korean Medicine Doctors introduced in ‘Photo Insert’ of 『HanBangEuiYakGye』No.2

『한방의약계』제2호의 ‘사진삽입’이라는 제하에 수록되어 있는 인물들은 모두 한의계에 종사한 인물들이지만 그들이 좀 더 중점적으로 활동한 분야에 따라 몇 개의 그룹으로 나누어서 살펴볼 수 있다. 첫째는, 구한말에 왕실의 어의를 역임했거나, 집안 대대로 의업을 하면서 뛰어난 의술을 지닌 한의사이다. 둘째는, 한의학교육을 위해 학교를 세우거나 다양한 학술활동을 전개한 한의사이다. 셋째는, 한의사단체를 조직하는 등 한의사들의 모임을 이끌어 가는데 노력한 한의사이다. 이들은 일제에 의해 자행되는 민족의학에 대한 탄압의 현실을 바라보면서 민족의학의 살길을 계속해서 모색하게 되었고, 이를 통하여 한의학이 사멸되지 않고 명맥을 이어가는 데에 큰 역할을 하였다. 본고에서는 ‘사진삽입’에 소개된 13인의 한의사들을 분석하여 근현대 한의사들의 활동상을 살펴보았다.

The figures listed under the title of ‘Photo Insert’ in 『HanBangEuiYakGye』No.2 are all those who were engaged in oriental medicine, but they can be divided into several groups depending on the areas in which they were more focused. First, he served as a royal physician at the end of the Joseon Dynasty, or was an oriental medical doctor with outstanding medical skills during the family service. Second, it is an oriental medicine doctor who established a school for Korean medicine education or conducted various academic activities. Third, it is an oriental medical doctor who worked hard to lead a group of oriental medical doctors by organizing an Korean medical doctor's. Looking at the reality of the oppression of ethnic medicine committed by the Japanese colonial government, they continued to seek a way to live in national medicine, which played a major role in continuing the existence of Korean medicine without destroying it. In this paper, we analyzed the 13 Korean medical doctors introduced in the “Photo Insertion” and examined the activities of modern and contemporary oriental medical doctors.
