식민자2세 고바야시 마사루(小林勝) 문학 속 이향(異鄕)과 이방인들

Foreign Lands and Foreigners in the Literature of Kobayashi Masaru, a Second-generation of Japanese Living in Korea

本論文は小林勝の文学を<異郷と異邦人>という側面で考察しようとした。在朝日本人2世の小林勝は,自分の経験を文学的に形象化していく過程で、朝鮮人と日本人以外に様々な異郷と異邦人を登場させる。そして、この点は植民地時期の朝鮮を背景にした多くの日本文学作品の中で明らかな特徴を形成している。 たとえば、小説｢フォード·一九二七年｣には、トルコ人が登場する。そして、この<植民地朝鮮のトルコ人>は、朝鮮人と日本人の構図、いいかえれば植民地における支配·被支配構造を浮き彫りにしながら、植民地状況の異常性を1950年代後半の日本の読者に伝える。小説｢犬｣には、ロシア人が登場する。このロシア人と彼が朝鮮人女性の間で産んだ｢混血児｣娘は在朝日本人が加える暴行と暴力にさらされるが、作家はこれを通じて植民地朝鮮の日本人社会の問題を明らかにする。小説｢拉拉屯｣は、植民地朝鮮に移住したのち、さらに満州の拉拉屯に移住した主人公の友人が送ってきた手紙を通じて、日本がアヘンを利用して満州を浸食していった過程の断面を1950年代後半の日本の読者に伝える。 以上のような文学的設定は、在朝日本人·植民者2世に生まれ、離鄕と帰還の過程を経験して戦後日本社会に移住した小林勝が、日本現代文学史に残した非常に独特の文学的戦略であると判断される。

In this paper, I have attempted to examine the literature of Masaru Kobayashi from the perspective of ‘foreign land and foreigner’. Masaru Kobayashi, a second-generation of Japanese living in Korea, in the process of figuring out his own experiences in literature, makes various foreign countries and foreigners appear in addition to Koreans and Japanese. It forms a distinct feature in many Japanese literary works set in Korea. For example, in the novel Ford, Turks appear. While illuminating the ruling structure, he conveys to Japanese readers in the late 1950s the abnormalities of the colonial situation. In the novel Dog, a Russian appears. The Russian’s mixed-race daughter is exposed to beatings and violence inflicted by Japanese living in Korea. Through this, the author reveals the problems of the Japanese society in colonial Korea. Through a letter sent by a friend of the main character, who moved to Lalatun in Manchuria after emigrating, we convey to Japanese readers in the latter half of the 1950s the cross-section of the process of Japan’s encroachment on Manchuria through the use of opium. The above-mentioned literary setting is a very unique setting left in the history of modern Japanese literature by Masaru Kobayashi.
