오늘날 국내관광이 주목받음에 따라 지역관광도 변모하고 있다. 지역사회가 관광지로 조성되면 구성원이 다양해져 수많은 상황이 발생하게 된다. 관광지는 관광지이기 이전에 지역주민이 거주하는 고향이자 삶의 터전의 장소이다. 이 연구에서는 관광자에 대한 지역주민의 정서적 연대가 관광개발 지지에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 홍대 인근에 거주하는 302명의 지역주민을 대상으로 실시하였으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 정서적 연대가 지각된 혜택, 지각된 비용, 지역사회 애착에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 둘째, 지각된 혜택과 지각된 비용, 지역사회 애착은 정부신뢰에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 혜택, 지각된 비용은 관광개발 지지에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 지역 사회 애착이 부(-)의 영향을 미쳐 연구가설이 지지되지 않았다. 마지막으로 정부신뢰와 정서적 연대는 관광개발 지지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 도출된 이론적ㆍ실무적 시사점을 기반으로 홍대 인근 지역 관광개발을 계획하고 있는 마포구 행정기관과 마을 공동체 지원센터 등은 홍대 인근 지역 관광 개발에 대한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
As domestic tourism gains prominence today, local tourism is also undergoing change. When a community is established as a tourist destination, its members diversify, resulting in a variety of situations. Before becoming tourist destinations, communities are inhabited by the local populace. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional solidarity between locals and tourists on tourism development support. It was conducted from January 7 to February 28, 2022 via an online/offline survey of 302 Hongdae-area residents, and the following are the results of the analysis. According to the research hypothesis, emotional solidarity had a significant effect on perceived benefits, perceived costs, and community attachment, and perceived benefits, perceived costs, and community attachment had both positive (+) and negative (-) effects on government trust. Third, perceived benefits and perceived costs had a positive (+) effect on supporting tourism development, but the research hypothesis was not supported because of the negative (-) effect of community attachment. Finally, it was discovered that government trust and emotional solidarity have a positive impact on supporting tourism development, and that the theoretical and practical implications derived from this study can be used as a foundation for tourism development in the Hongdae region.
