보완대체요법에 대한 간호대학생의 지식과 태도

Nursing Students' Knowledge and Attitude on Complementary Alternative Medicine

목적 본 연구는 보완대체요법에 대한 간호학생의 지식과 태도를 조사하기 위해 진행되었다. 방법 연구대상은 간호학생 280명으로 보완대체요법과 관련된 지식과 태도를 측정하기 위한 구조화된 도구를 이용하여 2020년 6월부터 9월까지 자료수집하였고, SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과 간호학생의 보완대체요법에 대한 지식은 12.78±5.802 로 낮았고 세부 요법의 종류에 따른 지식은 명상요법, 웃음요법, 아로마테라피 순으로 높게 나타났다. 연령, 학년, 동아리 가입 여부와 보완대체요법 경험 유무에 따라 보완대체요법에 대한 지식 정도에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 보완대체요법에 대한 간호학생의 태도는 33.51±9.944 로 긍정적으로 나타났으며 연령, 성별, 학년, 동아리, 보완대체요법의 경험에 따라 보완대체요법에 대한 태도에 차이가 있으며 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 결론 연구 결과 보완대체요법에 대한 간호학생의 지식과 긍정적인 태도를 향상하기 위해 관련 교육과정과 교육프로그램의 도입이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify the knowledge and attitude toward complementary and alternative medicine(CAM) among nursing students. Methods Data were collected targeting 280 nursing students, and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA with SPSS statistics 20. Data had been collected from June 17st to September 6th, 2020. Results Nursing students’ knowledge of CAM were higher in order meditation therapy(1.56), laughter therapy(1.48), and aromatherapy(1.37) than other CAMs. The average of nursing students’ attitudes towards CAM was 1.40±.75, and nursing students’ attitudes of CAM were positive. There were statistically significant differences in attitude according to age, grade, club availability, and experience on CAM. Conclusions To carry out CAM by means of nursing intervention and improve the positive attitudes and knowledge toward CAM, the nursing students need an education program. In addition, studies should be continued to identify the factors that influence the nursing students’ attitudes and knowledge toward CAM.
