Bowlby 애착이론의 핵심 개념인 “내적작동모델”에 대한 국내 연구 동향 분석

The “Internal Working Model,” a Key Concept in Bowlby’s Attachment Theory, Research Trend Analysis in Korea

본 논문의 목적은 모자(母子)간에 생애 초기 상호작용으로 형성된 애착의 내적작동모델에 대한 국내 연구현황을 분석하고, 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 방법은 1991년부터 2021년간 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문을 RISS, Google Scholar에서 애착의 내적작동모델을 주제로 한 논문을 검색하고그 중, 35편을 선정하여 연구의 대상, 주제 및 방법론별로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 연구의 대상에서는20대와 대학생을 연구의 대상으로 한 논문이 26편 중에 9편(34.6%)으로 가장 많았고, 그다음으로 어머니 및 모자(母子) 쌍을 대상으로 하는 논문이 각각 4편(15%)의 순이었다. 그리고 주제별로는 주양육자의 내적작동모델과 자녀의 발달 시기별 모자(母子)의 내적작동모델 간의 연구가 총 14편(40.0%)으로가장 높은 빈도를 보였다. 연구방법론별로는 양적연구 20편(57%), 질적연구 15편(43%)으로 균형을 이루었다. 향후 연구 방향으로는 연구 참여자를 노인까지 확대하고, 주제도 애착유형과 죽음 불안과의 관계에 대한 연구를 제언한다.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current status of domestic research on the “internal working model(IWM)”of attachment formed by interactions between mother and child in the early stages of life, and to suggest directions for future research. The papers published in domestic journals from 1991 to 2021 on the topic of IWM of attachment were searched by RISS and Google scholar. And selected 35 papers among them. As a result of the analysis, by the samples of the study, the majority of research papers were 9 papers (34.6%) out of 26 papers targeting 20-year-olds and college students followed by 4 papers each targeting mothers and mother-child pairs (15%). And by subjects the study between the IWM of the primary caregiver and the IWM of mothers and children by the developmental period of their children showed the highest frequency with a total of 14 studies (40.0%). By research methods, 20 quantitative studies (57%) and 15 qualitative studies (43%), were relatively balanced. As for future research directions, the study participants are expanded to include the elderly, and the subject also suggests a study on the relationship between attachment type and death anxiety.
