The purpose of this study is to explain the spatial characteristics of tourism resources and to examine the factors affecting the behaviors of tourists, focusing on the spatial linkages among tourism resources and the characteristics of tourist behaviors, which affect the decision for a destination choice. For this research, the description of the characteristics of tourism resources, such as location and classification in the Eastern Part of the Gyeonggi Province were provided. This study used factor analysis to explain the relationship between the location of tourism resources and the behavior of tourists. Mian research findings of the current study were as follows; First, there was a strong linkage-tourism among places which had similar resources compared to different resources. Second, tourism places with a good connection and accessibility acted as nodes among tourism resources. Third, the level of quality of transportation services and facilities was important for decision making processes of a destination choice.
