Interrelationship Research Between Shear Property of Fabric and the Number of Times of Dry Cleaning

In this study, we attempted the change level of fabric structure factors and physical propertys(shear property) according to the number of times of dry cleaning as a basic research. The specimens composed of the face cloth of wool 100% and the adhesive interlinings of cotton and viscose rayon. The specimen fabrics of 20cm × 20cm were used for measurement of physical propertys. Also the physical propertys measured with direction of twist, tpm of weft and density of weft. The number of times of dry creaning did 1,3,5,7 times. As a result, the shear hysteresis by a change in number of times of dry cleaning strongly shows a tendency to decrease overall warp and weft direction of fabric in factors such as weft twist,fabric density. Overall, 2HG showed less endurance as times of dry cleaning is constantly growing.
