안정적인 소화용수 공급을 위한 소방전술 개선에 관한 연구

Study on the Improvement of Fire-Fighting Tactics for the Stable Supply of Fire Extinguishing Water

연결송수관설비는 소방관이 사용하는 소화활동설비로 화재층 진압대원에게 소화용수를 공급하는데 있어 중요한소방시설이다. 그러나 소화용수가 신속히 공급되지 못하는 경우가 발생하기도 하는데 이는 연결송수관설비 화재안전기준 송수구 설치 장소의 불명확한 규정으로 인해 연결송수관설비 송수구를 발견하지 못하는 경우가 원인이 되기도 한다. 연결송수관설비를 발견하지 못한 경우 로프를 활용한 소방전술을 활용하는데 이는 많은 시간이 소요되는단점이 있다. 이러한 문제점에 대한 개선방안으로 본 연구에서 아파트 1층 옥내소화전함 내에 설치된 방수구(40 A)를 송수구로 활용한 실험을 통해 화재층 진압대원에게 신속하고 안정적으로 소화용수를 송수할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 연결송수관설비 화재안전기준(NFSC 502) 규정에 ‘아파트 1층 옥내소화전함 내에 송수구(65 A,회전형)를 설치’토록 하는 화재안전기준 개정(신설) 개선방안을 제시하였다. 신축 되는 건물에 개정된 화재안전기준이 적용 된다면 현장에 도착한 소방대원은 소방차량에서 소방호스(65 A)를 전개하여 옥내소화전함 내에 설치된 연결송수관설비 연결송수구(65 A, 회전형)를 통해 신속하고 안정적으로 소화용수를 공급할 수 있을 것이다.

The connected water pipe facility is an important fire extinguishing facility for supplying fire water to firefighters on thefire floor. However, there are cases where fire water is not supplied quickly, which is also caused by the inability to findthe connection water pipe inlet owing to unclear regulations on the installation location of the connection water pipe facilityfire safety standards. If the connected water pipe facility is not found, fire-fighting tactics involving ropes are used, whichtakes a lot of time. To improve this problem, we confirmed experimentally that fire extinguishing water can be quickly andstably delivered to fire suppression personnel using a water outlet (40 A) installed in an indoor fire extinguishing tank onthe first floor of an apartment. Through the experimental results, the Fire Safety Standards (NFSC 502) for Connected WaterPipeline Facilities (NFSC 502) proposed a plan to improve the fire safety standards (new) that require installation of wateroutlets (65 A, rotating) in the indoor firebox on the first floor of the apartment. If the revised fire safety standards are appliedto the new building, firefighters who arrive at the site can quickly and stably supply fire water through the connecting waterpipe connection port (65 A, rotary type) installed in the indoor fire extinguishing tank.
