소방차량 진입곤란 지역의 소방호스 배낭 효과성 검증

Verification of the Effectiveness of a Fire Hose Backpack in Areas Fire Trucks have Difficulty Accessing

본 연구는 소방차량 진입곤란 지역에서 소방호스 배낭과 기존 소방호스를 이용한 화재진압 기술을 비교 분석하여소방호스 배낭의 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 총 24명의 소방관을 대상으로 하였으며 화재진압 소요시간및 피로도 검증을 위하여 소방호스 배낭군 12명, 기존 소방호스군 12명으로 나누어 무작위 교차실험을 진행하였다. 걸음수에서는 소방호스 배낭군이 기존 소방호스군에 비해 1109.63보 차이로 낮게 측정되었고(p = < .001), 호스전개및 방수시간에서는 각각 평균 674.75 s 빠르게 측정되었다(p = < .001). 맥박 및 젖산 분비량에서도 각각 평균 23회(p = < .002), 평균 3.14 mmol/L 차이로 낮게 측정되었다(p = < .049). 추가적으로 진행한 실증 실험에서 호스전개시간은 약 81%가량 빠르게 측정되었고, 토출 속도는 약 2배, 적정 토출 방수압에 필요한 조작 압력으로는 100∼200 m에서 0.5 MPa, 300 m에서 0.8 MPa, 400∼600 m에서 0.95 MPa로 분석되었다. 소방차량 진입곤란 지역에서 신속한 화재진압 및 대원 피로도 감소를 위하여 소방호스 배낭 사용을 적극적으로 고려해야 한다.

The research aims to verify the effectiveness of firefighting hose backpacks through a comparative analysis of afirefighting hose backpack and conventional firefighting hose in an area difficult to access with a fire truck. The research,which targets 24 firefighters, was conducted as a random cross experiment. To this end, the firefighters were divided into2 groups: one group comprised 12 firefighters with firefighting hose backpacks and the other 12 firefighters withconventional firefighting hoses. The purpose was to test the total time required to extinguish a fire and firefighters’ degreeof physical tiredness. In the number of steps, the group with firefighting hose backpacks walked 1109.63 steps less thanthe group with conventional firefighting hoses (p = < .001). Furthermore, in the total time taken to spread out the hosesand extinguish the fire, the group with firefighting hose backpacks performed on average 674.75 s faster than the othergroup in both tasks, respectively. Regarding heart rates and lactic acid production, the group with firefighting hosebackpacks had on average 23 fewer pulses (p = < .002) and produced on average of 3.14 mmol/L less (p = < .049) lacticacid than the other group with conventional firefighting hoses. An additional verification experiment showed that the hosespreading time was shortened by 81% and the speed of discharge doubled. In addition, the operating pressure for anappropriate discharge of water was analyzed to be 0.5 MPa for 100 200 m, 0.8 MPa for 300 m, and 0.95 MPa for 400 600 m. – –Therefore, firefighting hose backpacks should be encouraged for use in areas difficult to access with a fire truck to rapidlyextinguish the fire and reduce the tiredness of firefighters.
