미용콘택트렌즈는 미용적인 목적으로 렌즈에 염료를 인쇄한 연성콘택트렌즈의 일종이다. 국내에서 청소년을 중점적으로 미용콘택트렌즈의 사용이 증가하며 이와 관련한 합병증도 증가하였다. 본고를 통하여 미용콘택트렌즈가 일반적인 연성콘택트렌즈와 비교하여 가지는 특성과 주요 합병증 및 치료 방안에 대해 알아보고자 한다.
Cosmetic contact lenses are soft lenses dyed for cosmetic enhancement. Their use has increased over time in Korea, especially among adolescents, but they are associated with certain complications. We compared the characteristics of cosmetic and conventional soft contact lenses, as well as the complications and treatments therefor.
