Current Researches on Microbiome Distribution in Infants from Breastmilk

Ojectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the recent researches on microbiome distribution in infants from breastmilk. Methods: The clinical studies on microbiome distribution in infants from breastmilk were obtained from PUBMED database, from 2013 to 2022 year. Results: 10 articles were analyzed to find out the most commonly used DNA extraction and sequencing method for Fecal microbiota composition. Conclusions: The major microbiome transmitted to infants through breastfeeding were Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, and Veillonella.
