코로나19 유행 동안 대학생들의 인플루엔자 예방접종률과 영향요인

Factors Influencing Influenza Vaccination Rates among College Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

본 연구는 코로나19가 유행하는 동안 대학생들의 인플루엔자 예방접종률과 예방접종에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 수행하였다. 2022년 7월 19일부터 26일까지 온라인 설문조사를 하였다. 201명의 학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집한 후 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 2021~2022년 인플루엔자 유행 절기동안 대학생의 인플루엔자 예방접종률은 48.8%였다. 호흡기감염 예방 지식은 12점 만점 중 8.72점이었고, 호흡기감염 예방 실천은 48점 만점 중 32.79점이었다. 코로나19 유행 동안 인플루엔자 예방접종에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 전공학과(O.R.=2.20, p=.027), 코로나19 예방접종(O.R.=2.67, p=.025), 과거 인플루엔자 예방접종 경험(O.R.=3.44, p<.001)이 유의하였으며, 일반적 특성과 호흡기감염 예방 지식, 호흡기감염 예방 실천은 유의하지 않았다. 과반수 이상의 대학생들이 인플루엔자 예방접종을 하지 않았으므로 코로나19 유행동안 인플루엔자 예방접종과 관련된 영향요인을 고려한 인플루엔자 예방접종률 향상 프로그램 개발을 제언한다.

This study was conducted to examine the influenza vaccination rate among university students during the COVID-19 pandemic and to understand the factors affecting influenza vaccination. An online survey was conducted from July 19 to 26, 2022, and the data collected from 201 people was analyzed using SPSS 18.0. Overall influenza vaccination rate was 48.8% during the 2021~2022 influenza season. Knowledge of respiratory infection prevention was 8.72 out of 12 points, and those of infection prevention behavior showed 32.79 out of 48 points. Major(O.R.=2.20, p=.027), COVID-19 vaccination(O.R.=2.67, p=.025), and experience of influenza vaccination(O.R.=3.44, p<.001) were shown to be significant factor influencing influenza vaccination during the COVID-19 respiratory infection pandemic, General characteristics of subjects, knowledge against respiratory infection, and infection preventive behavior against respiratory infection were not significant. More than half of college students were not vaccinated against influenza, therefore, it suggests to develop an influenza vaccination rate improvement program in consideration of factors associated with influenza vaccination during the COVID-19 respiratory infection pandemic.
