고교학점제 도입에 따른 학교 수준의 고등학교 진로⋅진학 지도 방안 탐색

A Study on School-level Career Guidance according to the application of the High School Credit System

2025년에 전면 시행될 고교학점제가 학교 현장에 안착되고 그 본연의 취지가 구현되기 위해서는 학생의 진로와 적성을 고려한 교육 활동 설계 및 진로⋅진학지도 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 이 연구는 고교학점제 도입에 따른 고등학교 교육 활동운영 및 진로⋅진학 지도 발전방안을 모색하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위해 10명의 현직 고등학교 교사들을 대상으로 한 면담을 통해 단위학교 수준에서 이루어지는진로⋅진학 지도의 현황, 쟁점 및 개선 방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 먼저고등학교에서 이루어지는 진로탐색 교육, 진학 지도, 과목 선택 지도의 특징과 의미를드러내었다. 또한, 학점제와 관련하여 교사들은 평가제도와 학점제 간의 괴리, 전통적인 학급 개념의 변화에 따른 문제, 변화하는 진학 지도에 적합한 교사 전문성 문제등을 고등학교 진로⋅진학 지도의 어려움으로 인식하고 있었다. 이상의 연구 결과를바탕으로 이 연구는 2025학년도부터 모든 고등학교에 전면 적용될 예정인 고교학점제의 시행을 앞두고 향후 해결해야 할 과제가 무엇인지 제안하였다.

In order for the high school credit system to be fully implemented in 2025, it is necessary to restructure the national curriculum reflecting students’ career paths and aptitudes and to shift to future-oriented instruction and evaluation. The purpose of the present study is to find ways to explore school-based career guidance following the introduction of the high school credit system. Specifically, this study aimed to examine the current status, difficulties, and overcoming strategies of high school career guidance through interviews with 10 high school teachers. As a result of the study, we revealed the characteristics and meaning of career exploration education, guidance for higher education, and supports for subject selection in high school curriculum. In addition, this study shows that teachers problematize the gap between the evaluation system and the credit system, changes in traditional concept of ‘classroom’, and teacher professionalism suitable for changing academic guidance. This study proposes the further tasks ahead of the implementation of the high school credit system, which will be applied to all high schools in 2025.
