학업적 자기효능감을 매개로 한 부모와 교사의 사회적 지지가 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 학업 무동기에 미치는 영향

The Influence of Parents and Teachers’ Social Support Mediated by Academic Self-Efficacy on Academic Amotivation of High School Students

특성화고등학교 학생들의 학업 중단률은 인문계 고등학교에 비해 2배 이상의 높은 수준을 나타내며, 실제 교육현장에서 학생들의 무기력함과 동기결여는 특성화고등학교에서 심각한 문제이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 특성화 고등학교 학생들의 학업 무동기에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 부모와 교사라는 큰 지지변인과 학업적 자기효능감이라는 내적 요인을 바탕으로 변인들 간의 인과관계를 구조방정식 모형을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 부모와 교사의 사회적 지지는 학업적 자기효능감(자기조절효능감, 자신감)에 정적 영향을 나타내었고, 학업적 자기효능감의 하위변인 중 자신감만이 학업 무동기(능력신념, 노력신념, 과제가치, 과제특성)에 부적 영향을 나타내었다. 또한, 부모와 교사의 사회적 지지 모두 학업적 자기효능감을 매개로 학업 무동기에 부적 영향을 나타내었다. 이상의 연구 결과는 부모와 교사의 사회적 지지가 학업 무동기에 미치는 영향에 있어 학업적 자기효능감이 매개역할을 한다는 것을 보여준다. 즉, 부모와 교사의 지지에 있어 학생의 학업적 자기효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 지지의 구성이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

The discontinuation drop-out rate of specialized high school students is more than twice that of liberal arts high school, and the helplessness and lack of motivation of students in the actual educational field is a serious problem in specialized high school. Accordingly, in this study, the causal relationship between the variables was examined through a structural equation model based on the large supportive variables of parents and teachers, which can influence the academic amotiavation of specialized high school students, and the inner factor of academic self-efficacy. As a result of the study, social support of parents and teachers had a positive effect on academic self-efficacy (self-regulatory efficacy, self-confidence), and among the sub-variables of academic self-efficacy, only confidence had a negative effect on amotivation. In addition, both parents and teachers’ social support showed negative influences on academic amotiavation through a sense of academic self-efficacy. The results of the above study show that academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the influence of social support of parents and teachers on academic amotiavation. In other words, it implies that the structure of support that can improve the student’s academic self-efficacy should be made in the support of parents and teachers.
