This study attempted to find out how the marine tourist destination selection attribute of the senior generation affects tourism satisfaction and how the influence of the marine tourist destination selection attribute of the senior generation on tourism satisfaction varies according to tourism type. The subjects of the study were seniors aged 51 to 80 who visited marine tourist attractions in Jeollanam-do for 29 days from July 18 to August 15, 2022, and the collected 253 copies were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that attractiveness, convenience, and information, which are the factors of selecting marine tourist destinations, had a significant effect on tourism satisfaction, and the factors of selecting marine tourist destinations were different depending on the type of tourism preferred by the senior generation. Based on these results, it will be necessary to prepare distinctive tourism products in consideration of the tourism types pursued by the senior generation..
