Significance of AI Surveillance Platform Development for Detecting Abnormal Behaviors in Integrated Resort Industry

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to classify the types of abnormal behaviors in Integrated Resort facilities, and to investigate the significance of artificial intelligence (AI) surveillance platform development that can be detected by the AI technology. Method: Current literature studies on various abnormal behaviors and current surveillance systems in Integrated Resort industry were examined. Results: Abnormal behaviors in Integrated Resort were classified into four types for customer management service, one type for customer protection service and five types for casino protection service. Also, current surveillance systems in Integrated Resort and the significance of AI surveillance platform development were identified. Conclusion: Abnormal behaviors in Integrated Resort facilities were classified in detail and the significance of AI surveillance platform development is well described. It would be expected to enhance the domestic and international competitiveness of Integrated Resort industry in economy industrial, technological, and social aspects.
