요동반도 지역에 수많은 고구려 성이 남아 있는데 안시성이 그중의 하나이다. 고구려 안시성은고구려사에서 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는데 유명한 安市戰이 바로 안시성에서 일어난 것이다. 지금까지 학계에서는 안시성의 구체적인 위치에 대해 부동한 의견을 내놓았다. 본고는 종래여러 학자들의 관점을 짚어보고 문헌기록과 현지조사에 기초하여 안시성의 위치를 추정하고 연구하여 사학계의 가르침을 구하고자 한다.
In the region of Liaodong peninsula, there are many historic sites of Goguryeo city, and Anshi city is one of them. Anshi city has a very important position in the history of Goguryeo, in where the famous Battle of Anseong took place. Over the years there have been many opinions about the specific positioning of Anshi city. On the basis of synthesizing the views of previous scholars, collating literature and field investigation, this paper intends to make a further examination of the geographic position of Anshi city.
