벤처캐피털 및 중소벤처기업 실태조사를 통한 지방 벤처투자 활성화 방안 연구

A study on promoting venture investment in non-capital area through the investigation on venture capital and small and medium-sized enterprises

본 연구는 벤처캐피털의 지방투자에 대한 인식 및 수도권과 비수도권 중 소․벤처기업의 투자 유치에 대한 실태를 조사하여 지방 벤처투자 활성화 방 안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 먼저 벤처캐피털을 대상으로 한 설문조사 분 석 결과, 지방 중소벤처기업에 대한 투자가 저조하기는 하지만 투자에 관한 관심과 의향은 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 투자의 성공사례가 드물고 지방 중소․벤처기업에 대한 정보 부족으로 지방 중소․벤처기업에 투자하거 나 투자를 고려할 때 어려움이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 투자 수요자인 중소․벤처기업을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과, 투자 유 치 과정의 모든 분야에서 비수도권 기업이 수도권 기업과 비교해 더 많은 어 려움을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 토대로 벤처캐피털의 불확실성과 정보 비대칭을 해 결하기 위한 정부 방안 마련이 필요함과 함께 비수도권 기업을 위한 정책적 개입이 더욱 적극적으로 이루어져야 한다는 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest policy implication for local venture investment by examining the perception of venture capital's local investment and the attraction of venture investment of small and medium-sized enterprises in the metropolitan area and non-metropolitan area. First, as a result of the survey analysis of venture capital, although investment in small and medium-sized enterprises in non-metropolitan area was relatively low, interest and willingness to invest were relatively high. However, venture capitals had difficulties when investing in or considering investment in small and medium-sized enterprises in non-metropolitan areas due to rare cases of successful investment and lack of information. Meanwhile, as a result of a survey of small and medium-sized enterprises, it was found that small and medium-sized enterprises in non-metropolitan area experienced more difficulties than those in metropolitan area in all areas of the investment attraction process. Based on the analysis results of this study, it is suggested that the government needs to solve the under-investment problems of non-metropolitan areas derived from uncertainty and information asymmetry of venture capital, and that policy intervention for small and medium-sized enterprises in non-metropolitan area should be more active.
