코로나 19 발생 전후의 웹 정보 검색량 트렌드 비교를 통한 대학생의 학습 활동 변화 분석

Analysis of changes in learning activities of university students' by comparing trends in web information search volume before and after the outbreak of COVID-19

본 연구에서는 코로나 19 발생 전과 후의 물리학 용어에 대한 웹 정보 검색량 트렌드를 비교하여 비대면 교육이 주로 대학생으로 구성된 19-24세 연령대의 학습 활동 변화에 미친 영향을 분석하였다. 연구대상 검색어로는 대학의 물리학 분야의 기초 개념어인 ‘관성모멘트’와 ‘푸리에변환’을 선정하였고, 검색량 정보는 네이버 데이터랩에서 제공하는 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 코로나 19 발생 전에는 검색어 마다의 고유한 반복적 검색 패턴이 존재하며 학기 중에 일주일 주기의 웹 정보 검색량 편차 현상이 강하게 나타났으나, 코로나 19 발생 후에는 그러한 패턴이 일부 변하였고 검색량 편차 현상도 상대적으로 약화되었음이 관찰되었다. 주기적 검색량 편차 현상을 구성원 간의 상호작용에 따른 능동적 학습 활동으로부터 나타나는 일종의 공명 현상으로 정의하였고, 코로나 19 발생 이후 나타난 공명 현상의 변화를 바탕으로 대학생들에게 나타난 학습 활동의 변화를 해석하였으며, 향후 교수자와 대학이 주목해야 할 향후 과제를 논의하였다.

In this study, the impact of un-tact learning on changes in learning activities in the 19-24 age group, mainly composed of university students', was analyzed by comparing the trend of web information search volume for physics terms before and after the COVID-19 outbreak. As the search terms for the research target, 'moment of inertia' and 'Fourier transform', which are basic concepts in the field of physics of the university, were selected, and the search volume information was data provided by Naver Data Lab. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that there was a unique repetitive search pattern for each search word before the COVID-19, and the deviation of web information per week was strong during the semester, but after the COVID-19, some such patterns changed and the deviation of search volume was relatively weakened. Periodic search volume deviation was defined as a kind of resonance phenomenon that occurs from active learning according to interactions between members, and changes in learning activities that appeared in university students' were interpreted based on changes in resonance phenomena that occurred after COVID-19. Based on this, future tasks that the instructor and the university should pay attention to were discussed.
