Purpose: This paper explores the reader’s way of comprehension of texts based on the properties of numerical organization. Methods: This discussion is based on Deleuze and Guattari’s analysis of numerical organization. Results: Deleuze and Guattari suggest pedigree organization, territorial organization, and numerical organization as ways of organizing people. The text under- standing that reflects the attributes of pedigree organization is centered on the notion of archetype such as ancestor or kinship consciousness. The text understanding reflecting the attributes of territorial organization is centered on universality rules such as state apparatus. The text understanding that reflects the nature of numerical organization is centered on the task of presence, such as the life of nomads. Four approaches are needed to understand texts reflecting the attributes of numerical organization. The first is a de-rooted understanding that deviates from the pursuit of fundamental interests such as ancestral or kinship consciousness. The second is a de-pure understanding that deviates from the pursuit of archetypes and immutability. The third is a de-compliance understanding free from assimilation and obedience to the thoughts of others. The fourth is a de-historical understanding that is not bound by existing ideas or the past. Conclusion: You should create your own life with text com- prehension that reflects the nature of numerical organization.
