목적: 이 연구의 목적은 듣기·말하기 교육 내용으로서 초등학교 1-2학년군과 3-4학년군에 해당하는 소집단 토의 담화의 교육 내용을 제시하는 것이다. 방법: 미국의 자국어 국가공통기준(CCSS)에 제시된 K-5 단계의 1-4학년에 해당하는 소집단 토의 관련 교육 내용과 2015 개정 초등학교 1-2학년군 교과서(국어, 통합)와 3-4학년군 교과서(국어, 사회, 과학)에 제시된 소집단 토의 활동의 양상을 검토하였다. 결과: K-5 단계의 1-4학년 과정에는 소집단 토의와 관련된 교육 내용을 지속적·체계적으로 다루고 있었으며, 검토 대상으로 삼은 교과서에는 소집단 토의 활동이 다양한 목적과 수준으로 제시되어 있었다. 이를 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 초등학교 1-2학년군과 3-4학년군의 소집단 토의 담화 교육 내용을 제시하였다. 결론: 학생들이 일상과 학습 상황에서 요구되는 소집단 토의 능력을 갖추기 위해서는 그에 대한 교육 내용을 초등학교 저학년에서부터 가르칠 필요가 있다. 모든 학생들이 다양한 맥락에서 이루어지는 소집단 토의에서 적극적이고 협력적인 참여자가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present educational contents of small group discussion discourse as the contents of listening and speaking education of 1-2 grade cluster and 3-4 grade cluster. Method: Educational contents related to small group discussion discourse for grades 1-4 of K-5 presented in Common Core State Standard(CCSS) of the United States and aspects of the small group discussion activities presented in the 2015 revised textbooks(korean, intergrated subject) for the 1-2 grade cluster and textbooks (korean, social studies, science) for the 3-4 grade cluster were reviewed. Results: The 1-4 grades courses in the K-5 stage specifically and systematically dealt with the educational contents related to the small group discussion discourse, and various levels of small group discussion activities were reflected in the textbooks that were reviewed. Based on the results of the analysis, presented the educational contents of small group discussion discourse in the 1-2 grade cluster and the 3-4 grade cluster of elementary school were presented as content goals and achievement criteria. Conclusion: In order for students to have the competence to discuss in small groups required in daily life and learning situation, it is necessary to teach educational content from the first grade of elementary school. Through this, it is expected that all students can become active and collaborative participants in small group discussion in various contexts.
