목적: 문법 교육 분야에서 교육적 순서를 배정하는 위계화는 가장 기본적이고 우선시되어야 한다. 그동안 한국어 문법 교육에서는 위계화에 대한 논의는 비교적 미흡한 상태다. 이에 본고의 목적은 한국어 문법 교육 속 위계화의 필요성을 논하고 한국어 교육에서 다루는 문법 항목을 배열하기 위한 위계화 모형을 모색해 보는 데에 있다. 방법: 본고에서는 교재 분석, 기존 연구 검토 등으로 관련 자료를 분석하여 위계화의 필요성과 방법을 제시했다. 위계화 모형에 대해 본고에서는 형태적 난이도, 의미적 난이도, 화용적 난이도, 모국어와의 거리, 선수 요인 등 여러 측면에서 논의하였다. 결과: 여러 측면에서 위계화의 요소들을 논의하여 등급 모형을 제시하였는데 이 모형을 문법 형태에 적용하면 위계화 점수를 산정할 수 있고 위계화 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 결론: 앞에서 언급했듯이 위계화에 관한 방법론적 논의는 많지 않은 편인데 본고는 방법론적 연구로 모형을 제시했으며 앞으로 더 깊이 있는 연구가 기대된다. 위계화에 관한 작업이 제대로 진행되어야 이론적인 토대에서 교재의 교육 내용을 계확하고 수업 계획을 할 수 있을 것이다.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to discuss the necessity of staging in grammatical items and the model of staging. Because of inadequate discussion on Staging for Korean language education previously, there is insufficient researches on staging. These leads to sequence issue for grammatical item among teaching materials, as well as difficulties on educational content arrangement. As a result, this paper is going to discuss the importance of staging in grammatical items and the model of staging. Methods: The paper is going to point out the staging elements and discuss grading of the elements from aspects of Morphological difficulty, Semantic difficulty, Pragmatic difficulty, Distance from L1, and Prerequisite factor on Staging model. Results: In this study, Discussed Staging in various aspects, and suggested the hierarchical model of staging. This model can apply to individual grammar items to get a ranking score for each grammar item. Conclusion: This study has achieved preliminary results, and we expect more in-depth studies in the future. Staging must be based on adequate research so that theoretically based curriculum and materials can be developed.
