목적: 본 연구는 라캉의 무의식적 욕망 이론을 바탕으로 텍스트와 독자의 소통을 통해 독자 주체를 형성하는 과정을 설명하는 것이다. 방법: 연구를 위하여 라캉의 상상계, 상징계 이론을 바탕으로 주체 형성에 있어 무의식 내의 타자의 역할을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 주체 형성을 위한 동화 읽기 방법을 단계적으로 제시하였다. 결과: 주체는 언어의 세계에 들어섬에 따라 상징계에 진입한다. 상징계 단계에서 주체는 상상계 단계의 2자적 만족감을 방해하는 ‘아버지의 이름’ 법과 원칙의 세계에 들어선다. 동화 속에 등장하는 등장인물은 상징계의 대타자의 역할을 하며, 독자는 동화 속 등장인물의 가치체계를 대타자의 가치체계로 여기고 이를 받아들임으로써 주체가 된다. 이와 같은 논리 체계로 주체 형성 중심 동화 읽기 방법을 구안하였으며, 그 과정으로 타자와 만나기, 타자 파악하기, 타자와 소통하기, 타자와 함께하기 단계를 제안하였다. 결론: 줄거리의 요약, 교훈 찾기, 등장인물과 동일시 등이 중심이 되는 동화 읽기에서 벗어나 동화를 통해 독자와 타자의 세계를 연결하여 독자 주체를 형성하는 관계 지향적 독서를 제안한다.
Purpose: This study is to explain the process of forming the Subject through Text-Other and Reader-Subject communication based on Lacan's theory of unconscious desire. Methods: For the research, based on Lacan’s theory; the Imaginary and the Symbolic, the role of Others in the formation of Subject in unconsciousness was examined, and the basis of Lacan’s theory was presented step by step. Results: As the Subject enters the world of language, it enters the Symbolic. At the Symbolic stage, the Subject enters the world of law and principle, “Name-of-the-Father” law and that principles hinder the two-way satisfaction at the imaginative stage. The characters in the stories play the role of a substitute in the Symbolic world, and the reader considers the value system of the characters in the stories as the value system of the substitute and becomes the Subject by accepting it. In relation to reading such a logical system, the steps of meeting with Others, identifying Others, communicating with Others, and being with Others were proposed as a method of reading a story centered on Subject formation. Conclusion: We propose a relationship-oriented reading that connects the Text-Other to the Reader-Subject through stories, away from reading stories centered on summary of the plot, finding lessons, and identifying with characters.
