대학 글쓰기 교재에서의 ‘문장’ 영역에 대한 구성 방향 및 지도 방안

A Organizational Direction and Guidance Method of the Sector ‘Sentence’ in Writing Material of University

목적：본 연구는 대학별 글쓰기 교재에서의 ‘문장’ 영역을 살펴보고, ‘문장’ 영역에 대한 교재의 구성 방향과 그에 따른 지도 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다. 방법：이를 위해 대학생들의 문장 쓰기와 관련한 선행 연구 및 2017년 이후에 편찬된 대학 글쓰기 교재 10여 종을 검토한 후, 학생들의 활동과 사고를 요하는 글쓰기 교재의 ‘문장’ 영역에 대한 구성 및 내용을 제시하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 한 교수자는 학생들의 활동과 사고로서 문장을 수정할 수 있도록 환경을 조성하고, 또 학생들이 수정한 문장에 대한 이해 및 수정 의도 등을 고려하여 이에 대한 충분한 피드백이 이루어져야 함을 논하였다. 결과：이로써 학생들은 바른 문장 생성 시에 고려해야 할 각 항목들에 대한 문장 수정 방법을 자연스럽게 학습 및 체화할 수 있다. 그리고 문장을 수정함에 있어 여러 항목들을 다각도로 살필 수 있는 안목, 글쓴이의 의도에 맞는 문장 생성 안목 등을 키울 수 있다. 결론：문장력은 일종의 기술이므로 바르지 못한 문장을 바른 문장으로 고쳐 나가는 고민의 시간과 과정이 필요하다. 본고의 ‘문장’ 영역을 통해 미약하게나마 학생들의 문장력이 강화되는 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

Purpose：The purposes of this study are to examine the sector ‘sentence’ in writing material of each university and seek a part of the organizational direction and guidance method of teaching material for the sector ‘sentence’. Methods：To achieve them, organization and contents for the sector ‘sentence’ of writing material demanding students’ activities and thoughts were suggested after conducting precedent studies related to student’s sentence writing and examining about 10 kinds of writing material of university, edited after 2017. And then, teachers based on them organized the environment so as to revise sentences as students’ activities and thoughts and discussed about sufficient feedback considering understanding of students’ revising sentences, their intentions, etc. Results：Therefore students can study and embody sentence revising method. Also, they can cultivate sight that can examine several items from various angles for revising sentences, sight of sentence creation for writer’s intention. Conclusion：As sentence writing ability is a kind of skills, time and process of worrying about correcting incorrect sentences are necessary. Through the sector ‘sentence’ of this thesis, it should be expected to strengthen students’ sentence writing.
