The Perceptual Difference of Barista Major Students on Social Support, Career Decision Making Self-efficacy, and Career Preparation Behavior: Based on Depression and Anxiety Scale

The study aimed to investigate the perceptual difference of barista major students on social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior based on depression and anxiety scale. PHQ-9 and GAD-7 were used to measure the depression and anxiety scale respectively. Data was collected from colleges located in Seoul, Busan, Gangwon, and Jeolla province. 200 questionnaires were used for the analysis and analyzed by ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was the perceptual difference on social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior according to the scale of depression. Second, there was the perceptual difference on solving problems, the sub factor of career decision making self-efficacy, skill development behavior, and goal achievement behavior. This is the first study which was undertaken through using depression and anxiety scale. The results can be useful for making career education programs.
