The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of major satisfaction on career decision making self-efficacy of college students majoring in barista department. To achieve the research purpose, the samples were drawn from four colleges located in Seoul, Busan, Gangwon province, and Jeolla province. A total of 186 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, satisfaction of related major, professors, and recognition as sub factors of major satisfaction had positive effect on career decision making self-efficacy. Second, it turned out that parental social support has controlling effect on career decision making self-efficacy. To generate high career decision making self-efficacy, it is important to give students field practice programs and set up useful programs for parents such as good communicating method between parents and their children in the schools.
