국제커피기구(International Coffee Organization, ICO)의 역할이 국내의 커피산업에 미치는 영향 분석

A Study on the Effects of ICO Role Influencing on Domestic Coffee Industry

본 연구는 국내 커피산업의 발전을 위하여 ICO와의 관계 유지에 대한 발전 방향을 고려하고 결정하는데 도움이 되고자 작성된 자료이다. 이를 위하여 ICO에 대한 발자취와 역할 및 활동을 관련 문헌 및 인터넷 자료를 통해 탐색하고, 사단법인 한국커피협회 정회원을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 ICO에 대한 관심도와 ICO의 역할에 대한 인지도를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 ICO가 국내커피산업에 영향을 미칠 것인가에 대하여 알아보았으며, 나아가 ICO와의 관계 유지를 통한 국내 커피 산업의 발전을 위하여 한국의 회원 가입 필요성을 고려해보았다.

This study is prepared to consider and determine developmental direction to maintain the relationship with ICO in order to develop domestic coffee industry. To this end, the study explores in respect of the ICO traces, roles and activities, literature and internet research. Further, by conducting a survey to the full members of Korea Coffee Association, the study examined the degree of interest of ICO and the awareness of ICO’s role. Throughout this process, I researched as to whether ICO may have influence on Korea Coffee Industry and considered the necessity of Korea becoming a member of ICO for domestic coffee industry development by maintaining relationship with ICO.
