해방 후 임순득의 ‘여성해방 의식’과 북한의 ‘장르문학’ 창작: 오체르크와 뿌블리찌스찌까에 대하여

After liberation, Lim Sun-deuk’s “Women’s Liberation Awareness” and North Korea’s “Genre Literature” creation: about Och’erk and bbubulizzisuzzikka

임순득은 해방 전 조선문단에서 ‘여류문학’이 아닌 ‘부인문학’ 소설가와 비평가로서 활동하다 재북하여 북한문단으로 넘어가 꾸준히 ‘여성주의’ 의식을 함양한문학들을 써왔다. 남한에서는 주로 단편소설과 수필만이 알려져 있지만, 그녀는‘오체르크’와 ‘뿌블리찌스찌까’라는 장르 문학도 창작한 바 있다. 본고에서는 임순득의 「따뜻한 손길 속에서」라는 오체르크와 「평화의 명절」이라는 뿌블리찌스찌까를 주로 다루되 그 안에서 드러나는 임순득의 여성주의 의식을 살피고자 한다. 북한문단에서 임순득의 여성주의 의식은 사회주의 사상 및 체제와 합치되어‘노동자－여성’ 혹은 ‘어머니－여성’으로서 발견된다. 이는 사상적 색채에 물들어임순득의 한계를 보여주는 듯하지만 실상 그 당시 북한문단에서 ‘여성작가’와‘여성문학’이라 할 만한 것들이 딱히 없었음을 생각해 본다면 여성의 (사회주의적) 주체의 면모를 보여주는 것 자체로서 이미 여성주의적 성취를 획득했다고 볼수도 있을 것이다. 이처럼 임순득은 ‘여성주의’ 의식으로써 해방 전과 해방 후를잇는 가교 역할을 해낸 거의 유일한 작가다.

Before liberation, Lim Sun-deuk worked as a novelist and critic of women’s literature, and wrote literature that steadily cultivated a sense of feminism by moving to North Korean literature. In North Korea, only short story novels and essays are known, but she has also created genre literature called ‘Och’erk’ and ‘bbubulizzisuzzikka.’ This article mainly deals with ‘Och’erk’ in 「In Warm Hands」 and ‘bbubulizzisuzzikka’ in 「The Holiday of Peace」. but we will explore the feministic consciousness of Lim Sun-deuk. In North Korean literature, Lim Sun-deuk’s sense of femininity is found to be ‘laborer-woman’ or ‘mother-woman’ in accordance with socialist ideas and systems. This seems to indicate Lim Sun-deuk’s limitations due to his ideological color, but considering that there were no ‘female writers’ or ‘female literature’ in North Korean literature at that time, it can be seen that he has already achieved feministic achievements. In this way, Lim Sun-deuk is the only writer who has served as a bridge between before liberation and after liberation with a sense of feminism.
