영화 <수상한 그녀>를 활용한 한국어 의사소통 교육 연구

A Study on the Communicative Korean Education Using the Korean Film, “Miss Granny”

이 논문은 영화 <수상한 그녀>를 활용하여 외국인을 대상으로 한 효과적인 한국어 의사소통 교육 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 영화를 새로운 관점에서 이해·분석하고, 이를 통한 수업의 절차와 방법을 제시하며 실제 수업의 예를 보였다. <수상한 그녀>는 국내에서는 물론 세계 8개국에 리메이크될 정도로 외국에서도 인기가 있었고, K-POP을 소재로 했기에 외국인에게 지속적인 관심을 모았다. 영화의 이러한 요인들은 한국어 의사소통 교육으로 활용되기에 적절하였으며 이 영화의 주제와 내용 또한 한국어 학습자들과 함께 토의, 발표 및 글쓰기를 진행하는 데 유용하게 활용되었다. 수업 절차에서 포스터와 예고편을 미리 보여줌으로써 학습 동기 유발과 영화 내용을 예상하도록 도왔고, 영화의 이해와 과제 수행을 쉽게 할 수 있도록 플립 러닝과 SNS를 활용하였다. 실제 수업과정에서, ‘20대의 삶의 가치 찾기’를 주제로 토의, 발표, 쓰기를 진행하였다. 이 영화를 활용한 교육의 대상이 20대 대학생들이었기에 학생들의 참여도와 집중도가 매우 높았으며, 한국어 의사소통 교육 과정에 자신의 삶의 이야기를 자연스럽게 끌어내 활용하였다는 것이 장점이었다.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest the way to teach the communicative Korean for Korean as a Foreign Language(KFL) learners by using the Korean film, “Miss Granny”. The film, is actively used in communicative language education because of its characteristics and ease of access. “Miss Granny” was a big hit in Korea as well as being remake in ８ countries around the world． Foreigners are constantly interested in the film as K-POP was a theme of the film. The theme and messages of the film were useful for having discussion, presentation and writing activities with KFL learners since the film, itself has appropriate factors to be used in the communicative KFL class. During the class, the students were given activities, such as discussions, presentations, and writings with the theme, “Looking for a value of life in my twenties.” To sum up, while using the film, the students’ participation and concentration levels became much higher as they are all in twenties and sharing their own life with classmates motivated students to participate in class activities actively.
