텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 셉테드 학술논문 연구동향 고찰

Analysis on the Trends of CPTED Research Using Text-Mining Techniques

본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝을 이용하여 셉테드 학술논문의 연구동향을 살피는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국학술지인용정보를 통해 ‘CPTED’ 를 주제어 또는 초록에 등록한 논문을 검색한 결과 718편의 논문이 검색되었으며, 718편의 논문에서 분석가능한 1559개의 키워드가 수집되었다. 수집된 키워드는 텍스톰 프로그램을 이용하여 TF-IDF, 네트워크 분석 및 토픽모델링 분석이 수행되었다. 분석결과, 첫째 연결중심성이 상위에 있는 키워드들은‘CPTED’, ‘범죄예방’, ‘범죄두려움’, ‘범죄’, ‘CCTV’, ‘범죄불안감’으로 셉테드 도입으로 범죄, 범죄두려움 및 범죄불안감을 감소시켜 범죄를 예방하고자 하는 셉테드의 목적에 부합하는 연구들이 주로 연구되고 있는것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 토픽모델링 결과 여성안전 CPTED, 공동주택단지CPTED, 도시재생 CPTED, 시설별 CPTED, CPTED 디자인 가이드라인 등 5 개 토픽이 추출되었으며, 각 토픽을 이어주는 키워드는 CPTED, 범죄예방, 범죄두려움인 것으로 분석되었다. 2010년 (사)한국셉테드학회의 출범과 2014년셉테드의 법제화 이후 연구주제가 다양화되고 양적으로 성장하였음을 확인하였다. 텍스트 마이닝을 이용한 셉테드 연구동향 분석과 방향 제시는 셉테드연구의 지속적인 발전에 유용한 자료로 제공될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the trends of CPTED research using Text-Mining. For this purpose, 1559 keywords were collected from 718 papers that registered ‘CPTED’ as the keyword or abstract through the Korean Journal Citation Information. Collected keywords were used for TF-IDF, Network analysis and Topic modeling through Textom program. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, Centrality analysis showed that CPTED researchs had been conducted focusing on keywords like ‘CPTED’, ‘crime prevention’, ‘fear of crime’, ‘crime’, CCTV’ and so on. Second, five topics were extracted: ‘CPTED women’s safety’, ‘CPTED apartment complex’, ‘CPTED urban regeneration’, ‘CPTED by facility’, and ‘CPTED design guidelines’. Since the foundation of Korea CPTED Association in 2010 and the enactment of CPTED in 2014, the diversification of CPTED research subjects has been made. Quantitative analysis using Text-Mining provides useful results for development of CPTED research.
