A Study on the Political Idea of Yoon Hee-soon

독립운동가 윤희순(1860-1935)은 일본의 침략에 대해 반제·반침략을 주장하며 의병운동에서 독립운동에 이르기까지 40여 년 동안 조국독립을 위해 몸소 실천한 인물이다. 국가의 위기상황에서 윤희순은 확고한 국가관과 민족관을 바탕으로 자신의 사상체계를 형성해 나가고 구국운동을 실천하였다. 본 연구에서는 역사의 변화 속에서 확고한 국가관과 민족관을 토대로 변함없는 독립운동을 전개한 윤희순에 대해 정치사상적 차원에서 연구를 시도하였다. 윤희순의 정치사상에 관한 연구의 접근은 상황적 특수성, 연속성, 일관성의 세 가지 시각에서 접근하였다. 본 연구에서 윤희순의 정치사상의 성격을 윤희순의 정치사상의 형성배경을 바탕으로 민족주체의지론, 반외세저항론, 애국인재양성론, 여성구국의지론 등의 네 부분으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 이를 통해서 윤희순의 확고한 사상은 평생 구국운동을 실천하고 조국독립을 염원했던 정신적 기반이었다는 점을 상기하며 오늘날 올바른 국가관과 민족관 정립의 중요성을 제기한다.

The freedom fighter Yoon Hee-soon (1860-1935) claimed anti-imperialism and anti-invasion of the Japanese invasion and spent 40 years of her life for the independence of the nation as part of the Righteous Army and in the independence movement. In the crisis of the nation, Yoon Hee-soon participated in the movement to save the nation by formulating her own conscious system based on her firm outlook of the nation and race. This studies attempts to research the unchanging independence movement of Yoon Hee-soon based on the firm outlook of the nation and race in times of historical change from a political-ideological perspective. Studies on Yoon Hee-soon's political ideology were approached from three perspectives: conditional features, continuity and consistence. In this study, the character of Yoon Hee-soon's political ideologies were, based on the background for forming the her political ideologies, examined by grouping into four section: national identity determinism, anti-foreign power theory, patriot fostering theory, and female nation saving theory. In the studies of Yoon Hee-soon's political ideologies, it is evident that her firm belief was the psychological basis for practicing life-long nation-saving activities and pursuing independence of the nation.
