백범김구의 자주적 독립국가론에 관한 연구

A Study on the Self-reliant Independent-nation of Baek-bum, Kim koo.

본 연구는 백범김구의 사상 중 ‘자주적 독립국가론’에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 현재 한반도 안보정세는 자주와 동맹, 자주와 국제협조라는 이중적 딜레마 속에 논란이 격렬하게 진행 중에 있다. 이런 상황에서 백범의 자주국가론은 시간과 공간을 뛰어넘어 시사하는 바가 클 것으로 고찰된다. 백범의 ‘자주적 독립국가론’은 백범의 국가론으로 백범사상의 진수를 보여준다고 하겠다. 백범의 정치사상은 민주주의론, 문화국가론, 경제적 평등론 등 다양한 차원에서 분석할 수 있으나 가장 대표적인 사상이 바로 ‘자주적 독립국가론’이다. 이는 백범의 73년의 삶 전체를 통관하고 있는 핵심적 사상이다. 그는 한말, 일제시대, 해방이후 오직 조국의 자주적 독립국가를 쟁취하기 위해 헌신하였다. 백범이 강조했던 ‘자주적 독립국가론’은 첫째, 외세를 무조건적으로 배척하는 논리가 아니다. 외세와 보다 우호협력적인 관계를 조성하기 위해 그는 자주를 내세웠다. 침략적인 외세를 배격했지 그렇지 않은 외세와의 협력관계를 강조하고 있다. 둘째, 그는 자주국가를 위해 민족의 힘을 강조하였다. 약소국으로서 생존하고 발전할 수 있는 유일한 길이이라고 하였다. 셋째, 자주국가론은 세계평화와 직결하고 있다. 자주와 평화의 관계를 결합적 관계로 설정하여 논리를 전개하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 백범의 자주국가론은 백범사상의 핵심을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 표류하고 있는 한국민족주의의 새로운 모형을 제시해주고 있다. 다음으로는 올바른 평화에 대한 방향을 제시해주고 있다고 평가된다. 끝으로 백범의 국가론은 자주와 동맹, 자주와 국제협조라는 과제로 인해 혼돈상황에 매몰되어 있는 오늘날 대북전략과 인식에 있어서 하나의 길잡이 역할을 해주고 있다는 점에서 매우 시사적이고 의미 있는 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

This study attends to analyse self-reliant independent-nation among Baek-bum,Kim's thoughts. The present security condition on the Korean Peninsula is under acrimonious dispute about independence-alliance and independence-international cooperation. The doctrine of Baek-bum, Kim's self-reliant independent-nation should be considered great meaning transcending era. The doctrine Baek-bum, Kim's self-reliant independent-nation is the theory of nation. And it show us the essence of Baek-bum,Kim's thoughts. The important contents of the doctrine Baek-bum, Kim's self-reliant independent-nation are as follows; First, it is not a doctrine excluding unconditionally foreign powers. Secondly, the doctrine of independent-nation is connection with world peace He consisted that a self-reliance is closely linked to a peace. Thirdly, he stress the need of national power for independent-nation' realization. This Baekbum' national theory presents the essence of his thoughts. And I should like to analyse his national theory as new paradigm about Korean nationalism. In the second place, Baekbum' national theory plays an important role in present chaosic strategy and knowledge toward North Korea by the controversy on self-reliance/alliance or self-reliance/international cooperation. Finally, his national theory presents the direction of the view of right peace.
