Shaft materials were measured in Cr-Ni steel, insert ring by SM20C, roller ring by SM45C, torque and shear strength by 20°C to 400°C. The number of slits in the SM20C insert ring was set to three to maintain proper strength and not to be affected by the temperature relationship. The life span of this retractor was less than that of a single retractor at high temperatures. In shear strength and thermal expansion coefficient, the shrinkage material of insert ring and roller ring increased shear strength, but the shear strength of axial expansion material decreased. Reducing the life span of the shrinking bonding material of the SM45C roller ring and SM20C insert ring is due to plastic deformation resulting from the extension of the outer ring during heating.
