주변부 여성 노인들의 생애사 연구 : 부산 매축지 거주자들을 중심으로

A Study on the Biography of the Elderly Women in the Educational Perspective: Focusing on the residents of Busan's reclaimed land

연구목적: 이 연구는 근대화 과정에서 주변부 여성 노인들이 자신들의 삶을 어떻게 주체적인존재로 인식하게 되는지를 살펴보는 데 연구 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 지역 내 문화공간의 프로그램에 참여하는 매축지 거주 여성 노인으로 특정하여 편의 표집을 취하였으며, 연구방법으로는 생애사적 내러티브 연구를 사용하였다. 연구결과: 연구 결과 매축지의 여성 노인들은 처음에는 시대사적 정체성, 성 역할 정체성에서 주변부 여성으로서 갈등과 어려움을 겪었지만, 차츰개인적 정체성이 성장하고 변화되면서 사회적 정체성과 통합되어 안정됨을 보여주었다. 논의및 결론: 주변부 여성의 삶에 대한 이해와 성장은 개인사인 동시에 현 한국사회의 특징을 이해하는데 매우 중요한 단서가 되며, 시대적·사회적 구조와 맞물려서 발전되므로 사회적 개입으로서 성인교육이 요구됨을 논의하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how the elderly women on the margins perceive their lives as independent beings in the process of modernization. Method: Convenience sampling was taken by specifying the subjects of the study as elderly women living in burrows who participate in the cultural space program in the region, and life history narrative study was used as the research method. Results: As a research method, life history study was used. After transcribed interview data with female elderly residents, the memories of the lives of specific individuals and groups were reconstructed with the meaning of experience, growth, change, and formation. Conclusion: Through these research results, it was discussed that understanding and growth of the lives of women on the margins is a personal history and a very important clue to understanding the characteristics of current Korean society.
