마을교육공동체 활성화 요인 관련 국내 연구 동향 분석

A Trend and Content Analysis of Studies on Village Education Community

연구목적: 본 연구는 마을교육공동체 국내 연구 동향과 활성화 요인을 분석함으로써 학교와 지역사회 연계 관련 연구와 실행에 기여하기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구방법: 마을교육공동체를 키워드로 하는 관련 연구 55편을 선정한 후, 일반적 연구동향(발표연도, 연구 분야, 연구방법, 연구주제, 연구대상)과 활성화 요인을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 일반적 동향을 보면 마을교육공동체 사업이 확산하면서 관련 연구도 증가하였고 특히 교육학을 중심으로 한 사회과학 분야 연구가 증가하였다. 연구방법으로는 질적연구, 문헌연구 순으로 많았고 주제별로는 참여자 인식과 실천연구의 비중이 높았다. 또한 연구대상으로는 교사, 학생, 학부모 보다 활동가 및 지역주민, 관리자 및 운영자 연구가 많았다. 활성화 요인으로는 협력적 의사소통, 참여 주체 요인 순으로 비중있게 제시되고 있었다. 논의 및 결론: 연구결과가 마을교육공동체 연구와 마을교육공동체 실행에 시사하는 바를 검토하고 향후 마을교육공동체 발전을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the general trend and contents of the studies on Village Education Community (VEC), thereby contributing to the theoretical and practical development of VEC. Method: The 55 VEC articles with VEC as a keyword were selected, and general research trends and improvement suggestions for further development of VEC were analyzed. Results: Findings showed that the number of VEC research increased as the practice of VEC expanded; qualitative research and conceptual research were the most common research methods; VEC participants' recognition and practice were identified as the most important components; and more studies focused on VEC activists, community residents, managers, and operators of VEC than the other participants. Reviewing the improvement suggestions for the further development of VEC yield 6 themes including shared visions and cooperative communication. Conclusion: The implications of this study for the further development of VEC are discussed.
