이 연구는 개별 동사의 말뭉치 예문을 분석하여 의미를 분류하고 의미별 사용 양상을 살핀 후에, 고빈도 사용 양상을 보이는 의미를 대상으로 개별 동사의 속성 체계화에 대하여 논의를 하였다. 이를 위해서 동사 ‘따르다1’을 대상으로 말뭉치의 예문을 분석하고 어떠한 의미 영역에서 쓰이는지 분류하여 개별 동사의 속성을 체계화하는 기반이 될 수 있도록 개념명을 설정하였다. 이 개념명을 기반으로 실제 ‘따르다1’의 사용 양상을 각 개념명별로 나누어 정리하고 말뭉치 예문을 분석한 결과에서 고빈도 사용 양상을 보이는 ‘수반(隨伴)’과 ‘의거(依據)’, ‘준수(遵守)’ 등의 의미를 추출하였다. 이 개념들을 대상으로 그 속에 내재해 있는 상적 특성, 상황 유형, 논항 구조, 격틀, 공기하는 명사 논항, 활용 형태 등의 속성을 분석하여 개별 동사의 속성 체계화에 대하여 논의를 하였다. 이 연구와 같이 다양한 관점에서 동사의 의미 속성을 연구하는 논의들이 계속된다면 동사 전체의 의미 연구, 나아가 어휘의미망의 구축, 어휘 교육 등에서도 다양하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
This study analyzed example sentences of works in which the verb “ttareuda 1” is used and thereby looked into the pattern of its usage. Based on this, the study aimed to analyze and systemize the attributes of the meaning of “ttareuda 1”, which shows a pattern of frequent use from among various meanings. For this, the study classified the verb “ttareuda 1” in order to see in which semantic domain. Also, as a result of analyzing the example sentences of works regarding the actual pattern of usage of ”ttareuda 1”, the study extracted the meaning of “ttareuda 1”, which demonstrates a pattern of frequent usages including “concurrence” and “basis”, “standard”. Aimed at these three concepts, the study analyzed the relevant attributes involving the aspect characteristics, argument structure, case frame, noun argument that is used together, and the pattern of inherent internal utilization. In case of the discussions in research into the semantic attributes of a verb from diverse perspectives as used in this study, these will also be a foundation to be utilized variously in research into the entire meaning of a verb or further for the construction of a vocabulary semantic network.
