최근 학문 목적으로 대학에 입학하려는 중국인 학습자가 점점 늘고 있다. 이에 따라서 각 대학은 외국인 학습자의 글쓰기와 관련된 수업을 운영하는 한편 이들 학습자의 수행평가를 실시하고 있다. 자신의 생각을 정확하고 논리적인 글로 표현하기 위해서는 충분한 어휘력․표현력과 더불어 올바른 띄어쓰기에 관한 충분한 지식이 필요하다. 하지만 국어의 문자사용 방법은 한자의 문자사용 방법과는 다른 언어 규칙 체계를 갖고 있다. 따라서 중국인 학습자에게는 정확한 띄어쓰기 사용이 쉽지 않다. 그리고 지금까지 한국어 교육 현장에서 띄어쓰기에 관한 연구와 체계적인 지도 방안이 정립되지 않은 상황이다. 그러므로 본 연구는 한국어를 학습하는 중국인 학습자의 작문에서 나타나는 띄어쓰기의 구체적인 오류 양상과 그 유형을 살펴보고, 이들 학습자를 위한 효율적인 띄어쓰기 교수 방안이 필요하다는 것을 밝히는 데 목적을 두었다.
Recently Chinese student numbers for students studying Korean in Korea has increased. Accordingly, each university has been graded in relation to the foreign students writing ability and assessments. A teaching system is required for students to sufficiently learn vocabulary, expression and correct word spacing. The Korean and Chinese language system vary greatly so therefore the use of correct word spacing is difficult for Chinese learners. By analyzing the Chinese students’ error examples, we aim to design a systematic teaching syllabus which is yet to be established.
