지정문화재 스토리텔링에 관한 연구

A Study on the Storytelling of Selected Cultural Properties: With the Focus on Feng Shui Storytelling, the Selected Cultural Properties of Seongnam City

현재 한국은 경제협력개발기구(OECD)에 진입하였고 한국인의 여가 활용 시간도 선진국형에 근접하리만큼 늘어났다. 이에 따라 현재 지정문화재 해설사로 활동하는 문화해설사의 스토리텔링에 있어 인터넷 등에서 검색만 할 수 있는 단편적인 내용의 스토리텔링만으로는 관광객에게 양질의 관광서비스를 제공한다고 할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서 스토리텔링 현황에 대해 살펴본 바와 같이 식상한 문화재에 대한 스토리만으로는 관광객 유치에 한계가 있을 수밖에 없다. 본 연구는 이에 대한 대안으로 성남의 대표적 지정문화재를 대상으로 풍수스토리텔링에 대한 도구로서 양택 관련 20개의 스토리텔링 소재(도구)를 제시하였고, 음택과 관련하여서는 30개의 소재를 제시하였다. 지정문화해설에 있어 본 연구에서 제시한 스토리텔링 도구(소재)를 활용한다면 문화관광객에게 보다 유익한 정보를 제공할 수 있다고 사료된다. 음택문화재의 경우 역사인물을 풍수와 같은 전통적 지리내용으로 다양하게 스토리텔링 한다면 지역사회 관광객 유치로 관광수입의 증대로 인한 지역경제에도 기여할 것으로 본다. 이를 위해 문화해설사의 스토리텔링에 대한 지방정부의 노력을 필요로 하고 있다.

Currently, Korea has entered the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The leisure time of Koreans is close to that of people in developed countries. The stories of cultural commentators can be searched on the Internet. Storytelling with fragmentary content cannot provide good tourism services to tourists. As a result of this study, the general story alone cannot attract tourists. This study targeted representative cultural properties in Seongnam-si. As a tool for feng shui storytelling, 20 storytelling materials (tools) related to Yangtaek (housing) feng shui were presented. In addition, 30 materials were presented in relation to Eumtaek (Grave) Fengshui. In the selected cultural commentary, the storytelling tool(material) presented in this study can provide more useful information to cultural tourists. In the case of Eumtaek(Grave) Cultural Heritage, various storytelling of historical figures with traditional geographical content such as feng shui increases tourism income and contributes to the local economy by attracting local tourists. To this end, local government support and efforts for storytelling by cultural commentators are needed.
