한국어 문화적 어휘 교육 연구

The educatonal study on Korean cultural vocabulary

본고는 한국어 교육에 있어서 한국어의 언어 문화적 특성을 담고 있는 어휘에 대해 적극적으로 교육할 필요를 느끼며 한국어 문화적 어휘를 교육 내용으로 구성하여 이것을 외국인 학습자에게 효과적으로 교육하는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다.이와 같은 목적에 따라 문화적 어휘 내용을 세 가지로 나누어 교육적 측면에서 접근하였다. 첫째는 어원적 측면에 따른 교육이다. 둘째는 사용 의미적 측면으로 관용어, 다의어, 감각어, 유의어에 대한 교육 내용을 다루었다. 셋째로는 사용 맥락적 측면으로 경어와 방언에 대한 교육 내용을 다루었다. 또한, 한국어 문화적 어휘를 효과적으로 교육하기 위해서 일상생활에서의 사용 빈도와 비례해 초급, 중급, 고급 단계별로 학생들의 수준에 맞는 문화적 어휘를 제시해주는 것이 중요하다고 인식하고, 각 단계별로 어휘 교육 내용을 효과적으로 교육할 수 있는 어휘 교육 방법을 제시하였다. 한국어를 제대로 배워 유창하게 구사하기 위해서는 한국어에 들어 있는 고유한 언어 문화를 이해하고 배워야 한다. 본고에서 제시하고 있는 문화적 어휘 교육의 내용과 방법을 통해 한국어 학습자들이 한국어에 스며 있는 언어 문화를 습득하여 한국어를 통한 의사소통을 효과적으로 수행하는 데 도움이 되었으면 한다.

This paper seeks to provide foreiners with efficient education through understanding cultural features of korean language. This paper consists of three parts of cultural vocabulary as follows. Firstly, education about origin of vocabulary. Secondly, idiom, a word with many meanings, sensible word and synonym on the side of meaning of usage. Thirdly, honorific and dialect on the side in connection with usage. In order to teach efficiently cultural vocabulary, it is important to be divided into three steps as primary, middle and advanced according to grade of students in proportion to freguency of use in ordinary life. Charecteristic Korean language culture should be understood and taught to enhance Korean language fluency. The contents and mehtods of cultural vocabulauy education presented on this paper wish to be helpful to foreign learners for communicating minds efficiently through understanding language culture.
