본고는 문학교육의 학습주체인 초등학교 학습독자의 시 읽기 과정을 분석하여, 텍스트 특징에 따라 학습독자들이 겪는 시적 체험의 특성을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 시 텍스트의 음악성, 회화성, 주제 중심성에 따른 학습독자의 시적 체험 특성을 살펴보았다. 학습독자들은 음악적, 회화적 특성이 강한 시 읽기에서는 주로 구성요소의 분석이나 설명 및 텍스트 중심의 평가와 설명적 구체화 체험을 많이 드러낸다. 주제 중심적 시 텍스트 읽기에서는 주로 경험적 구체화와 주제화, 자기화 체험을 많이 겪는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 조사 결과는 시 읽기 교육의 교재 선정이나 교육 내용 및 방법의 수립에 시사점을 준다.
This study is that the characteristic of poetic experiences showed through reading a poem of elementary school students was analyzed and examined by each grade. For this, it examined the characteristic by characteristic of poetry showed in the course, collected and analyzed protocol data through reading a poem to 1,101 students of 16 elementary school in areas below a big city, small towns, towns and villages. Also, the educational suggestions of literature was arranged.
