외국인을 위한 한국어 인사 표현의 교육 방안

A Study of the Greeting expressions of Korean and its education program for foreign learners

본고에서는 한국어의 여러 화용 표현 중에서 역사나 문화, 그리고 민족성이 많이 반영된 인사 표현을 다루었다. 특히 고정적으로 굳어져서 쓰이는 인사 표현에는 한국인의 문화와 정서가 짙게 나타나 있기 때문에 외국인들에게 한국어 화용 표현을 가르칠 때 우선적으로 가르칠 필요성이 크다. 먼저 2장에서는 한국어 인사 표현의 여러 유형을 일상적인 상황과 특정한 상황으로 나누어 분류해 보고, 3장에서는 한국어 인사 표현에 대한 교육 현황을 파악하기 위해서 외국인 학습자와 한국어 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 한국어 교재도 분석하였다. 4장에서는 한국어 인사 표현의 교육 내용을 언어권별 및 학습 단계별로 교수법과 함께 제시하였다.

This paper examined Korean greeting expressions in a detailed way based on various survey questions. Acquiring and understanding expressions of Korean greetings is very important for foreign learners because these expressions indicate Korean's cultural sentiments. Various kinds of idiomatic greeting expression has to be taught mainly even for the novice learners. Each greeting expressions are examined following various circumstances at first. Second, The result of survey questions were analyzed. 96 subjects whose got different language and cultural background- English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese- were participated to answer for the survey questions. 23 subjects who workers as a Korean teachers also participated to answer for the survey questions. Third, based on these data, appropriate teaching methodology and abundant lists of greeting expressions were presented.
