드라마 <강남 엄마 따라잡기>에 나타난 상상적 메커니즘

'To catch up with mothers in Kangnam' exactly shows this kind of characteristics of drama show. By finding the most viable suppression in education system, this TV drama show tells about the past and the present of school education and analyzes vague concept of reality and imagination through mechanism of imagination. In other words, its story writer 'made up' a reality in new aspect through various characters and situations by using his or her own imagination. To show this reality in a new story, the writer utilized a space called Kangnam and it shows the reality of every mothers who desperately care about their children education by telling stories about mothers in Kangnam, Minjoo and her school friends in the screen. These mothers do not actually consider and support their children's dream and goals but they simply struggle to raise their children enough to survive in this society as part of high social class. This is being a reality of this Korean society which the writer tried to express in this TV drama show, not only talking about 'difference between Kangnam and Kangbuk', 'real situation in Kangnam education' but also describing 'problems of education system in Korea as a social issue'.
