연구 방법과 연구 주제에 따른 한국어 읽기 연구 분석

The Analysis of Research Methods and Topic Trends in KSL/KFL Reading Research

본 논문에서는 외국어로서의 한국어교육의 읽기 영역의 연구 경향을 연구 방법 및 주제에 따라 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS)에서 한국어 읽기 교육과 직접적으로 관련이 있는 78편의 논문(학술지 논문: 24편, 학위 논문: 54편)을 대상으로 연구 방법과 연구 주제에 따라 논문의 연구 경향을 분석하였다. 연구 방법에 따라 분석한 결과 학술지 논문과 학위 논문에서는 일차적 연구의 빈도가 높음을 알 수 있었으며, 학위 논문의 경우에는 학술지 논문과 달리 다중 연구 방법을 사용한 연구가 많음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 대부분의 논문에서 사용한 연구 방법이 설문지법과 인터뷰 등의 특정 연구 방법에 치우쳐 있다는 분석 결과를 통해 다양한 연구 방법의 활용이 필요하다는 점을 지적했다. 한편, 연구 주제에 따른 분석 결과는 학술지 논문과 학위 논문의 연구가 몇 개의 주제에 편중되어 있음을 보여 주었다. 특히, 글의 요지 이해와 교수 과정에 관한 연구 주제 및 담화 조직과 텍스트 이해에 관한 연구 주제가 읽기 연구의 대부분을 차지하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구 경향 분석을 통해 읽기 연구 방법 및 연구 주제의 다양성 제고를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the types of KSL/KFL reading research papers in accordance with the analysis of research methods and topic trends in KSL/KFL reading research. A total of 78 research papers, searched in the KERIS(Korea Education & Research Information Service：http://www.riss4u.net/index.jsp), were identified and analyzed. Firstly, the results of the analysis of journal articles and these for a degree indicate that many primary researches were found compared with secondary researches. Secondary, the multiple research methods were used very often compared with single research method in the these for a degree. Thirdly, most of primary researches used certain research methods frequently, that is, questionnaires and interviews. Lastly, in terms of the analysis of research topic, the results of the analysis of two kinds of research papers show that only a few research topics were dealt with in reading research. This study suggests that various research methods and topics should be utilized in KSL/KFL reading research.
